Milestone at Long Last
This has been a long time coming. Years, in fact. But my manuscript has finally passed the 50,000-word mark. This places it in the range of novel length work. There are a few scenes to write yet, and then I will have a draft. Meanwhile, I have examined the way I handle characters. The first revision is going to bring the characters to life. You should be able to remember this cast easily after the last page. Some you will love, and some you will despise, but you shoud be able to recognize them again if you bump into them in another book. Stay tuned as my momentum is building. I am looking forward to printing a hard copy and taking the raw clay of the draft and sculpting something you will love.
